Musica Pristina

Over the years, true audio enthusiasts have given up their vinyl and reel-to-reel and begun to embrace digital audio.

In the world of high-end audio, there exists a realm beyond the commonly known brands of Bose® and BestBuy®. Audio enthusiasts have transitioned from vinyl and reel-to-reel to embrace the world of digital audio. Recognizing this shift, Musica Pristina set out to create a line of digital audio gear that not only delivered outstanding sound quality but also provided an exceptional user experience.

To optimize the use of memory and enhance sound quality, Musica Pristina enlisted the expertise of our development team to write Linux kernel drivers. By fine-tuning a custom sound card driver, they were able to improve the efficiency of memory usage, ultimately resulting in enhanced audio performance.

Beyond the technical aspects, Musica Pristina wanted their configuration screens to be a joy to use. To achieve this, Welsh Technologies created a solution based on Angular 2+, Bootstrap, and NodeJS. The result was a clean and intuitive user interface (UI) that delighted customers with its neat design and peppy performance. Since that initial release, we’ve ported the application to ASP.NET Core and Blazor, cutting edge technologies from Microsoft that run on Linux, Apple, Android and Windows operating systems.

With expertise in Internet of Things (IoT) development, the team ensured that Musica Pristina's digital audio gear met the requirements for controlling circuits, gathering data from sensors, and aggregating information from devices in the field. By covering these IoT needs, the team contributed to the seamless integration and functionality of Musica Pristina's products.

Additionally, the development team took on the task of writing the communication code for the main audio board, which controls a clock board and other devices using the I2C protocol. This integration further enhanced the overall performance and synchronization of Musica Pristina's digital audio gear.

Recognizing the importance of keeping current with industry standards, Musica Pristina adopted Roon Advanced Audio Transport (RAAT), a protocol developed by Roon Audio for playback control. With the expertise of the development team, Musica Pristina quickly implemented RAAT into their platform, establishing themselves as early adopters of this industry standard.

In conclusion, the collaboration between Musica Pristina and the development team at Welsh Technologies resulted in a line of digital audio gear that not only delivers exceptional sound quality but also provides a delightful user experience. Through the optimization of Linux kernel drivers, the creation of a sleek and intuitive UI, integration of IoT functionalities, and implementation of industry standards, Musica Pristina successfully meets the demands of true audio enthusiasts. The team's dedication to innovation and client satisfaction shines through their readiness to listen and engage in meaningful conversations.
